Chrome Diopside is an even rarer form of Diopside because it is mined almost exclusively in a region of Eastern Siberia known as Inagli. It gets its vibrant green color from the element chromium, making it often referred to as a “Russian emerald” due to its similar appearance to emerald and primary source of mining in Siberia, Russia 🇷🇺
